On Thursday, May 29, 2025, in commemoration of Cuban Playwriting and Theater in Exile Day, a special program honoring actress Daisy Fontao will be broadcast on the Artefactus Cultural Project YouTube channel. This program, in collaboration with the OLLANTAY Center for the Arts and the Cuatrogatos Foundation, was released.

The event, recorded in 2024, featured actors Juan David Ferrer, Daisy Fontao, Mabel Roch, Julio Rodríguez, Joel Sotolongo, and Grettel Trujillo, who performed texts by prominent playwrights Carlos A. Aguilera, Raúl de Cárdenas, Gretel Delgado, Eddy Díaz-Souza, Chely Lima, Pedro R. Monge Rafuls, Matías Montes Huidobro, Cristina Rebull, Antonio Orlando Rodríguez, and Legna Rodríguez Iglesias.
This program celebrated the artistic legacy of Daisy Fontao, a key figure in Cuban theater in exile, and reaffirmed the importance of this playwriting, which has transcended borders.
