HAVANAFAMA and ARTEFACTUS Cultural Project present “The Miracle of Madame Kirovska,” a play by Cuban playwright Héctor Santiago, which will be staged at the ARTEFACTUS Cultural Center in a production directed by Juan Roca.
The play features performances by Julie De Grandy, Dairín Valdés, and Dennis Mencia, who bring to life a story marked by humor, sensitivity, and the search for happiness. The protagonist, Madame Kirovska, is an eccentric and charismatic woman who, convinced that love can transform people’s destinies, embarks on a unique plan to change the life of her grandson, Albio.
With writing that combines poetry, irony, and sharp observations on the human condition, Héctor Santiago crafts an endearing piece that reflects on appearances, affections, and the opportunities life offers for reinvention.
