The Artofactus Cultural Center will be the scene of the presentation of the poems of shores, oaks and honeystelvas, by Mireya Goñi Camejo, recently published by the Bethany publishing house (Madrid). In this new volume, the author explores issues such as uprooting, affective memory and the link with the homeland from an intimate and contemplative look.
Bachelor of Letters from the University of Havana, Mireya Goñi Camejo has developed a sustained work in the cultural field such as Library, Teacher and Reading Promoter in Cuba and the United States. As he will express in an interview for Diario Las Américas, writing represents for her a vital need, a way of drawing emotional bridges between her present and the memories that accompany her from childhood.
