This isn’t the story of the hero Odysseus returning from war. It’s the story of a young man who, unwittingly, is swept away by the waves from his home, embarking on a journey across rivers and seas in a landscape as familiar as it is poetic.

From island to island, Odysseus will discover that traveling is much more than covering distances. It’s about learning to see the world with different eyes, encountering those who seem different, discovering a family in unfamiliar lands, and understanding that true knowledge is born from the journey itself: from listening to others, from venturing into the unknown, and from taking a step further, even when moving forward with fear.

“The Sirens Don’t Exist,” written and directed by Eddy Díaz-Souza, brings together a team of artists who invite the audience to embark on this adventure: Hanny Cunill, Betsy Rodríguez, Lina Echeverri, Luis Bárcenas, and Rei Prado. The art objects and set design were created by Carlos Artime, the original music is the work of Rony Cintra, and the general production is in charge of Carlos Arteaga.
