Born in Medellín, Colombia, Alejandra Luna is a singer and composer with a solid musical background spanning both popular and classical genres. She studied music at the Universidad Javeriana and honed her vocal skills under the guidance of renowned Colombian soprano Carmiña Gallo and Maestro Leonel Villa, while also participating in workshops on singing and vocal technique in Milan and Vienna.
Throughout her career, she has explored diverse genres and performed on various stages. She appeared as a soloist during seasons with the Opera of Colombia, performing in productions such as *The Magic Flute*, *Rigoletto*, *Madama Butterfly*, *Faust*, and *La Vie Parisienne*, as well as the zarzuela *Luisa Fernanda*. She played Mary Magdalene in the rock opera *Jesus Christ Superstar* and performed Manuel de Falla’s *El amor brujo* with the Symphony Orchestra of Colombia.
Her work in Latin American music includes performances at major festivals in Colombia and abroad.
