On Saturday, October 3, at 8:30 p.m., as part of the Reading Festival and a series of literary readings and discussions featuring Miami-based authors who write and publish in Spanish, the Cuatrogatos Foundation—in collaboration with Artefactus Cultural Project, the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, and Florida Humanities—will present writers Kelly Martínez-Grandal and Ana Schein.

The event, which is also supported by the National Endowment for the Humanities and Jacarlene Humanities, is part of the program *Expanding We the People: Literary Perspectives from Miami’s Latino Authors*. One of the program’s primary objectives is to help promote the work of literary creators based in this South Florida city.
