ARTEFACTUS Cultural Project, with the support of Fundación Cuatrogatos and Florida Humanities, invites you to a literary reading and conversation with Venezuelan writers Claudia Noguera Penso and Douglas Gómez Barrueta.

Claudia Noguera Penso, writer, poet, and editor, is the author of books such as Último trecho (Last Stretch), El viaje (The Journey), Caracas mortal (Deadly Caracas), Bajo Infinito (Under Infinity), and Poemas fragmentados (Fragmented Poems). Her work has been published in numerous countries and translated into English, Italian, and Portuguese.

Douglas Gómez Barrueta, poet and author of Talla de agua (Water Carving), has been included in various anthologies published in Venezuela and the United States; his manuscript Los pasos del puente (The Steps of the Bridge) was a finalist for the 2022 Paz Poetry Prize.
