Three women. Three stories. Three ways of taking center stage.
From September 4 to 20, the Solo Theater Fest returns to ARTEFACTUS, and its sixth edition brings together Silvi Lott, Vivian Morales, and Reina Ivis Canosa in a program where visual arts and solo theater share space.
Sept. 4 — WHAT FIRE REVEALS
Solo exhibition by Silvi Lott
A forest after the fire. Charred trees, dark earth, small shoots, and a glimpse of what remains when something has changed forever.
Sept. 11–13 — NOWHERE TO RETURN TO
With Vivian Morales
Text and direction: Eddy Díaz-Souza
After thirty years, Alina returns. A tribute awaits her… and also the stories she left unfinished.
Sept. 18–20 — TOO LATE
With Reina Ivis Canosa
Text and direction: Reina Ivis Canosa
A mother. A daughter. The silences passed down from one generation to the next, and the possibility of breaking the cycle.
Silvi Lott transforms a landscape scarred by fire into visual reality. Vivian Morales embodies a woman who returns to confront her past. Reina Ivis Canosa writes, directs, and performs a story about inherited silences.
Three creators, three universes.
WOMEN ON STAGE.
General Production: Carlos Arteaga
An ARTEFACTUS Cultural Project production, with the support of Miami-Dade County, the National Latinx Theater Initiative, an initiative of Latino Theater Co., and The Miami Foundation.
