Rony Cintra Ferrer is a pianist, composer, arranger, and musical director, born in Santiago de Cuba and trained in the solid Cuban academic musical tradition.
A graduate with a Gold Medal in Musical Composition from the University of the Arts in Havana, his work integrates technical rigor, expressive sensitivity, and a profound connection with music as a living experience.
Throughout his career, he has collaborated with various orchestras and projects where piano, arrangement, and musical direction engage in a dialogue between concert music and contemporary popular music. He also teaches at the university level, understanding musical creation as a space for research, transmission, and connection with the public.
