In “Threads,” author and director Eddy Díaz-Souza presents the reunion of two fashion designers who meet after a long estrangement. This reunion allows them to revisit past events, childhood and family stories, as well as very personal events in their lives. The cast included Belkis Proenza as Macuqui, Lina Echeverri as Miguelina, Lilo, played by Guillermo Lavandera Cabré, and Michel Casals as Andrés.
The play revolves around envy, secrecy, and Macuqui’s desire to make her son shine at any cost, leading to a tragic outcome.
